Shipping Policy
Delivery
Delivery will either be made from our warehouse or direct from the factory, depending on where stock is available and the assortment of products on the order. Title and risk of loss shall pass to the Customer upon shipment. In the absence of Customer’s instructions, we will choose ground transportation and route shipments in accordance with our understanding of the Customer’s best interest.
Partial Shipments
The Customer may request either partial shipments or ship complete. Unless specifically requested by the Customer and acknowledged by HPE, we reserve the right to make partial shipments and invoice accordingly. As a distributor for many different manufacturers, we often have items shipping from multiple locations, and in this case, we will drop ship from the factory and ship directly the customer. We are able to hold orders to ship complete; however, we only place regular stock orders with a few manufacturers. Therefore, if holding to ship complete, we also reserve the right to add a small charge to the freight on the shipment for additional freight costs incurred for additional, irregular inbound shipments.
Shipping Errors
Customers must report shortages or erroneous shipments within 30-days after receipt of shipment. Prior payment does not prejudice a claim.
Delays
We assume no liability for delays in delivery beyond our control. This shall include, but not be limited to, fires, floods and other acts of God, accidents, strikes, insurrections, war, shortage of materials, lack of transportation, and failure of subcontractors and/or suppliers for similar reasons. Failure by us to perform for the aforesaid reasons shall not be grounds for Customer’s cancellation of its order. Delivery promises are made to the best of our earnest knowledge, and depend on promises made by its suppliers, and are therefore only estimates. Where Customer information data is necessary to complete an order, delivery is from time complete information is on hand. We will not be liable for any damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential resulting from missed delivery date.
Preferred Carrier
To ensure timely and safe delivery of your products, HPE Automation has partnered with FedEx to be our preferred carrier. Over the years, we have found that FedEx most consistently delivers upon our commitment to on-time delivery and high quality that we want to deliver to our customers. That said, FedEx and UPS both make daily scheduled pick-ups. If the Customer’s preferred carrier is UPS and they wish to ship on their account instead of prepay and add, we do ship UPS daily.
Standard Transit Map
The below transit map shows the standard transit times shipping products via standard ground from HPE Automation’s warehouse in Deerfield Beach, FL. If an order is drop shipping from the factory, the below transit map does not apply and transit time would be dictated based on the ship from location.
